StarLab Portable Planetarium Programs

Stargazing For Everyone now offers indoor planetarium programs using the StarLab system.
The StarLab system is a portable planetarium that can be brought to a school, community center, large meeting room, or corporate offices. These programs are perfect for grade level science presentations, science enrichment programs, school science nights, scout groups working on merit badges, and home school group activities.

Sample Programs


Light Speed Explorers

Description: This is a fun and exciting science enrichment class where students will explore the Milky Way Galaxy and beyond. This class is a trip into deep space, with activities to challenge and engage students in active learning. Explore our galaxy, viewing the latest NASA discoveries with computer simulations and multimedia presentations. Topics can include deep space objects such as star clusters, nebula, black holes, supernovas, and the constellations. Class activities can include a stargazing event in the "StarLab" portable planetarium for an additional fee.

15 student minimum, 30 students maximum.


Cosmic Discoveries: Women in Astronomy

Description: This is a great program for young girls interested in the contributions women have made in astronomy. This fascinating science history enrichment class will present astronomical discoveries and the women who helped make them. The class unravels a different astronomical mysteries by explaining who and how the discoveries where made. Optional activities relating to these discoveries are for an additional fee. These activities are geared to challenge and engage students in active learning.

15 student minimum, 30 students maximum.


Solar System Explorers

Description: This is a fun and exciting science enrichment class where students will "Planet-Hop" across the solar system with activities to challenge and engage students in active learning. Explore the solar system, viewing the latest NASA discoveries with computer simulations and multimedia presentations. Topics can include the planets and their moons, asteroids, comets, and the Sun. An optional "Planet Hunt" in the "StarLab" portable planetarium is available for an addditional fee.

15 student minimum, 30 students maximum.


Experiments in Astronomy

Description: This is a fun and exciting hands-on experimental science enrichment class where students learn about astronomical devices and perform astronomical experiments. This is a hands-on class with activities to challenge and engage students in active learning. The material fee is dependent on the experiment selected. An optional activity, making a real working "Galileo" type telescope is available for an additional fee.

15 student minimum, 30 students maximum.
